Schooling: Currently a student at the University of Wisconsin at Madison, majoring in Japanese language and lit.

Interests: Honestly?  Just about anything.  I'm Liberal, Agnostic, and various other things starting with unnecessarily capitalized letters.  I love travel and completed a study abroad in Tokyo from September 2004 to August 2005.  Also been to Italy, England, Nicaragua and parts of France.  Hoping to visit many more places, including the mooooon.

I like gaming, particularly RPGs and adventure games/platformers.  I do like some manga, particularly One Piece, Deathnote and Gegege no Kitaro, and some anime, like Cowboy Bebop, Paranoia Agent, Samurai Champloo and FLCL.  In other words, nerd.  Generally socially acceptable, however, and will not eat your daughters or corner your sons in backway alleys.  May occasionally wear top hat and twisty mustache.

I also like art, geeky science factoids, and reading.  Favorite authors are mainly, I've noticed, British, though there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of rhyme or reason behind that.  I will always pick up something by China Mieville, Neil Gaiman or Terry Pratchett, and I particularly love Pratchett, and especially the character Sam Vimes, who is hella sexy and it can't be denied.
